Bob Paul has combined pastoral, organizational, and academic ministries over many years. He was ordained in the Presbyterian Church in the USA, and retired as a minister of the Presbyterian Church in Canada. He has been a pastor of seven congregations: in California, Washington, Oregon, and British Columbia. He has served as the chief executive of two international mission agencies, as a board member of a third, and chaired the Board of a retreat center in Washington State. He taught as an adjunct faculty member or visiting lecturer for Fuller Theological Seminary, Regent College, Carey Theological Seminary, and the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Osijek, Croatia. In 2015, he became Dean of St. Andrew’s Hall, a theological school of The Presbyterian Church in Canada, and Professor of Mission Theology at Vancouver School of Theology in Canada. Now semi-retired, he serves as Teaching Scholar in Residence at Bel Air Church in Los Angeles, enjoys the never-ending challenges of playing golf, and welcomes opportunities to be of service to the church and wider community.
